The most advanced racing boom we have ever designed now comes in 2 new sizes to better suit the latest evolutions of our racing sails and a whole new look for 2026.

Our ultimate carbon pre-preg booms are designed for expert riders who demand knife-like precision from their equipment. This boom offers instantaneous control with its increased torsional rigidity. With zero lag time from flexing connections, it offers the most comfortable sensation you have ever felt while holding a boom and the ultimate direct steering experience.

Its predecessor, the XC Race Interouthaul was a milestone in windsurf boom history, being the first racing boom to ship with an integrated Interouthaul system. The Carbon Race Pro 27 features an oval diameter shape which feels natural in your hands while sailing and reduces arm-pump dramatically.

VT JOINT

Increases contact area from the boom attachment to the mast.
It can be used on any standard diameter mast.
Reduces chance of point loading.
Minimises play between the boom and mast connection.
Allows easy adjustment of boom height.

MAST CUP

The mast cup provides 2 points of contact between the cup and the mast, creating a tight connection and ensuring great transmission of power.
The V-Shape accommodates variation in standard mast diameters.
Slightly thinner masts sit further into the V, while wider ones sit further out. The VT-Joint is standard on all NeilPryde booms.

OVAL DIAMETER SHAPE

Replicates the natural shape of your palms and fingers offering great comfort and grip strength to extend your riding sessions. The oval shape also increases the stiffness of the boom arms by increasing torsional rigidity.

INTEGRATED INTEROUTHAUL SYSTEM

Designed for high performance racing. As the trim- lines slide inside the boom arms, offering maximum comfort while racing as there are no more disturbing ropes in your way. Spectra inhaul rope.
